Civic Engagement

Works to advance a shared society of coexistence and equality among Israel’s Jewish and Arab citizens by promoting programs that model inclusive public policy and institutional reform in the areas of education, leadership, safe commuting, equitable policing and minority mainstreaming in the media.

The Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, founded in 1996 by the late President Shimon Peres, is focused on developing and implementing cutting-edge peacebuilding programs in innovation, peace education, medicine, business, and environment, engaging tens of thousands of Arab and Jewish, Israeli and Palestinian children and adults, men and women.

Inspires and cultivates new generations of global leaders in communities divided by conflict, including Israelis and Palestinians, by equipping them with the skills and relationships they need to accelerate social, economic, and political changes.

Is a movement of thousands of Israeli and Palestinian women of diverse political religious, ethnic, social and geographic background working to reach an honorable and bilaterally acceptable political agreement of the Israeli – Palestinian conflict.
